RUN, RUN, RUN
The St. Catharines Roadrunners & Walkers club was founded in 1980 and has over 120 active members.
We meet every Wednesday night at 6:30 pm at the Niagara Ball Hockey Club (16 Melbourne Ave. St. Catharines) http://tinyurl.com/ku7j38v
Runners and walkers of all ages and speeds are welcome. Just drop by. We break into groups and do anywhere from 5 to 15 km.
Hang around for a beer or some dinner after if you are feeling social.
Saturday, Sunday and special events
All ages and abilities are welcome. Just show up and join in.
Saturday mornings we run from coffee shops around St. Catharines. Distances vary. Sign up for our Facebook page for the weekly announcement
Sunday mornings, join the Trail Apes. They usually go out for 1.5 hours and run a different trail every Sunday. As routes vary weekly, sign up to see where the Trail Apes are heading next. Routes include the Bruce Trail and Twelve Mile Creek to Woodend, Shorthills, the Niagara Gorge and the Niagara Parkway.
We also love a good adventure and head out for races, themed runs and wine runs. and host a range of club social events.
Runs are free. Membership gets you into the events and some discounts on our races.
